It’s somehow identical to the old top gear but not. Also only showed Evans, LeBlanc and Sabine on this one.

Wasn’t bad, wasn’t really good either. The Nomad and Viper reviews were fun, as was the last part of the UK vs. US. However, the studio segments definitely need work. The camera work/editing in the beginning was horrendous and the new SRPC seemed uncomfortable, both the interview and Evans’ lap commenting were off. Talking about Evans: can someone please tell him it’s okay to not shout all the time?
Anyway, I’m still looking forward to the next episodes, but I do hope they improve a lot.

The show itsself was quite good indeed, and Matt is quite a good presenter. However Evans is a bit too energetic with his bouncing and shouting, a bit like it is some kind of childrens show or something.

I want to spoil it so bad, but I won’t. It was definitely better than the worst of the Clarkson era ones like the segment on Peugeot they did.

I thought it was a bit too much aimed at an American audience which is a bit odd because of US Top Gear. The Stars in a Reasonably Priced car for example - some small American guy with a German name who I’ve never heard of in my life.
It was OK but at the same time a bit stale - too much Top Gear as it’s always been done if you like.

I can see where you are coming from, the US is still a big market for them though. I think this series will probably be a bit safe, the next series will probably be better.
